I’ve been sharing how much I love Close To My Heart’s new Artfully Sent Cartridge. Thank you to all that have asked questions or requested instructions on how to make some of these interactive cards. It helps guide me how to better help you!
Watch this video I made on how to make this Mr. & Mrs., Pop-Up, wedding card.
Here’s a closer look at the inside of this card.
When you look at your Handbook, for Artfully Sent, you’ll notice on page 34 all of the pieces you need to cut to create this card. Let me show you what I did.
The first function key is POP-UP, you’ll see there are two images you are going to cut at 7″. The first one is the base that your Mr.&Mrs. will fit onto. I cut this out in White Daisy Cardstock. The second image is the shift lock–pop-up and I cut this out of Black Cardstock. This gets glued onto the White Daisy base. See how it makes a really nice boarder? Now look at the next function key called ICON. I cut the ampersand and rings out of Gray Shimmer Paper. It’s part of our Z1829 Black and Gray Shimmer pack of three. Everything is “linked” so you don’t have to change your size dial settings for each image. Everything will cut to fit a 7X5 card. Love that!
The last step is to cut the outside of the card. I cut this in some retired For Always My Reflections Paper that I had. I love using up my stash. I also cut a piece of 3 3/4 X 5 in Grey Shimmer paper to make the ampersand on the front of this card pop. I also used up some old Black Tulle ribbon I had.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I’d love to see what you’re making. Don’t forget to follow me on Faecbook, if you haven’t already done so, subscribe to my Youtube Channel. It’s the best way to get updates when I create new artwork.
It’s also a great time to order at Close To My Heart. When you place an order of $50.00 or more, on my website, you’ll get to take advantage of two specials.
